Avon Animal Feeds prepares for exciting move to Redhill!
A local female-run, family business is preparing for an exciting new chapter as Avon Animal Feeds moves from its current home in Broom to a new, larger store at Redhill Farm Yard (next to the well known pub, The Piston Club on the Alcester Road, A46).
Established in 2020, Avon Animal Feeds is run by sisters-in-law Ashleigh and George, who have grown the business over the years around a shared love of animals, friendly customer service and providing local owners with the feeds, products and advice they need.
The move follows conversations with Nigel from All Things Rural, which previously operated its successful feed store from the Redhill site. It quickly became clear that there was still a real demand in the area for a friendly, independent animal feed store.
“After having a great chat with Nigel and hearing more about the successful feed store that had been run at Redhill for many years, it just felt like the perfect collaboration for both businesses. There is clearly still a gap locally for this type of store, and we’re incredibly excited to be bringing Avon Animal Feeds to Redhill, together with All Things Rural who will provide us with an extensive range of lawn seeds, wild flower seeds and environmental crops.”
The new store will stock an extensive range of equine and farm feeds, poultry and smallholder feeds, bedding and supplements, alongside dog and cat food, raw dog food, natural dog treats, wild-bird feed, small-animal products and everyday animal essentials.
And Avon Animal Feeds won’t be making the move alone.
The much-loved Lilly’s Dog Grooming Salon will also be relocating to Redhill. Lilly has built an excellent reputation over many years and is a familiar and trusted face to her customers. From the smallest four-legged visitors to much larger breeds, dogs of all shapes and sizes will be able to enjoy plenty of pampering at Lilly’s new salon within the Redhill store.
Also joining the growing collection of female-run businesses at the site will be The Little FEC Lab, which will offer parasite testing from the store, providing another convenient and valuable service for local ruminant animal owners.
Together, the businesses hope to create much more than simply a place to pick up a bag of feed. The vision for Redhill is a welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly destination for the local animal-owning community, bringing feed, supplies, grooming and specialist services together under one roof.

Avon Animal Feeds will officially open the doors to its new Redhill store on Saturday, 3 October, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the business and bringing animal feed and services back to a site with a long-standing connection to the local rural community.
To celebrate the opening, representatives from a number of well-known and trusted animal feed brands will be joining the team at Redhill throughout the day, giving customers the opportunity to meet some of the people behind the brands, chat about feeding and find out more about their products.
There will also be special opening-day offers and giveaways for customers, making it the perfect opportunity to come along, have a look around the new store and meet the people behind the businesses.
Above all, the team hopes the opening will be a chance to welcome the local community
through the doors and celebrate the start of an exciting new chapter for Avon Animal Feeds.
